metallic paint accented with a gradient tint was ordered by 6,759 enthusiasts.
The base price for the new Vette was $18,290.
The return of the "fuelie" was great news since almost two decades had elapsed
since the last availability of fuel injection (1965). All MY 1982
Corvettes had automatic transmissions.
Exterior colors included Black, Dark Blue, Bright
Blue, Silver Blue, Silver, Silver Beige, Silver Blue/Dark Blue, Silver/Dark
Claret, Silver/Charcoal and White/Silver.
